Info
Dr. Hess Otto's stone was found early in the project in Nov
2001. It was used as a stepping stone leading to village workers
area where tools were cleaned.Upon revisiting the site a few
months later the stone was no longer in it's place, replaced
by a pile of construction debris. By chance encounter with
Mrs. Gu, the landlord's wife revealed that the stone had been
moved and not used in the construction of her new home because
it was considered bad luck to do so.
